Songs have been a part of people's lives since birth, even some while still in the womb. It is therefore just fitting to celebrate a milestone in a person's life such as a wedding with the right mix of songs. Wedding songs will set the right mood for a solemn ceremony, and will also add to the air of festivities during a reception. As with all planning efforts, each song to be played or sung must be properly set to sustain the right atmosphere for the wedding and the reception. Event specialists often collect a list of songs from couples who are planning to get married. The lists contain songs that are special to the newlyweds in one way or another. It may be a theme song or a song that was playing in the background when they first met; or simply favorite songs that have contributed to a strong relationship.
