I am happy to share with you some photo's I just got back from the beautiful Mariel. I just adore this girl. I have styled her hair more than a few time's. She was a bridesmaid in another wedding earlier this year and then I also styled it for her trial and her Rehearsal Dinner. We have done many looks on her which all looked good but this one is my favorite. I know I said before that hair styled half-up half-down is one of my favorite style's, but I have to say ALL DOWN is my all time favorite. So feminine, so sexy and so amazing! We also added a little extra clip-in hair to give it just the right amount of body, fullness and length. She already has awesome hair to begin with, but this just took it one step further.   I love these shots captured in D.C., I love her Fur Coat and I loved her wedding party. Just a great wedding. Enjoy….

Have I told you how much I love a half up half down hairstyle for a bride. It's one of my favorite looks! I thought Melissa had the best hair to rock this "do." She looked amazing! We had so much fun with her party at the Landsdowne Resort.   Makeup was done by the very talented, Jan Scott You can visit more breath taking photo's from Melissa's wedding by {a}strid Photography at: http://www.myastrid.com/blog/melissa-alex-married/

Leah has been a color/haircut client of mine since I moved here year's ago. We have gone from a very short sassy haircut to growing it all out for her wedding. We might have had a little help with some clip-in hair extension's.  I was so excited when I heard she was engaged! She called me right away and said "I'm booking you before any other vendor's" and I also want you to be at my wedding! Love this girl!!! She had her wedding at the O Street Mansion in DC , such a eclectic place. They have hidden passageway's and room's to explore in the mansion as well as vintage stuff that you can actually purchase. Each room has a theme, it's just a really cool place, if you haven't seen it, go tour it! We decided on 2 hairstyle's for Leah since, you know I was there and all. For the 2nd hairstyle, I had an idea to clip off these flower's I had on a headband. They matched her Anthropologie dress perfectly! I hope to have some more photo's so...
